Unique Fundraising Event Experiences

Challenge

Events are a significant part of POGO’s fundraising plan. It was important for their events and fundraisers to be unique and impactful, and POGO wanted to create a unique brand experience for participants.

Solution

Our initial task with POGO was to create an immersive gala theme and experience. We developed a sophisticated circus theme called CIRQUE, which combined a classic circus design with the gritty elegance of Moulin Rouge. As the gala event evolved, it became important to connect donors with the experience of the kids their funds were supporting. Kids with cancer spend a lot of time in their pajamas during prolonged hospital stays, which inspired a suite of PJ-themed fundraisers. These included the POGO Pajama Party, an upscale, trendy event where participants sported their favorite PJs, and Pajamas and Pancakes, a DIY fundraiser. Ramp was engaged to develop branding and event materials for these two new events during their inaugural years.
